This magical 1970's vintage Jean Patou 2 piece evening dress is in a luxuriously fine black sheer silk. The fabric has with metallic gold and green embroidered paisleys that add just the right amount of sophisticated shimmer!

The dress has a sheer blouse with front covered buttons, a pussybow tie and collar snaps. The blouse is meant to be loose fitting, and can be worn with the skirt or with a pair of black pants, jeans or a skirt. 

The long skirt is fully lined and pleated, closing with a zipper and snap. It has two layers of embroidered fabric, and when worn, the top layer of shining paisleys alternate with a more muted version for a masterful pattern. The paisleys on the skirt are the same style, just noticeably larger than the ones on the top.

We estimate this ensemble to fit a modern day size 6/8 but please use the measurements as a guide for the best fit. Though the pieces are labeled a vintage size 12,  it fits our mannequin like a modern day size small.
